The most attractive opportunities are often found in countries where governments are reserved when it comes to working with international partners. What is more, water related issues are often very complex: Dutch players can only offer an integral solution if they work together. A long term commitment, a strategic joint vision and a willingness to speak with one voice is necessary for success on these difficult markets. NWP coordinates country platforms which facilitate these demands.

Cooperation happens mainly in the pre-competitive phase, when economic diplomacy is often necessary to establish first contact. Country platforms are open to every member organisation that seriously want to commit itself to a joint project for 3 or more years.
