Looking at the challenges we currently face, we can safely claim that the water sector is a growth sector. There is plenty of room for young professionals, and the sector offers ample opportunities for growth and development. Finding qualified people is however not that easy. The simple fact that water is unknown territory for many students threatens to cause a shortage in personnel in the future.

The program Human Capital Water & Delta is set up by a number of organisations in the water sector, to inspire young talent to choose for a carreer in water. The program stimulates cooperation between water related organisations and schools-primary schools, secondary schools and universities.
