Poland: Huge tenders for port and waterways development12/01/2018
The Water & maritime sector have welcomed 2018 with great pipeline projects. Below you can find information about three current tenders on water activities in Poland.
1. Port of Gdansk - Investment value between 1,140-2,160 Million Euros
The Project entitled "Construction of the Central Port" is directly connected with the need for spatial development of the port. It is included in the Development Strategy of the Port of Gdansk until 2027. In the Northern Port there are undeveloped areas of the Port of Gdansk Authority (PGA) in the service area of the existing and planned transshipment terminals. According to the spatial development plan, they are intended for port and industrial activities. The area thereof is about 60 hectares, but 20 hectares are considered a reserve for the development of the transport network.

2. 'Analysis of the inland waterway transport sector taking into consideration modernization of the Odra Waterway and the Waterway of the Vistula Waterway'

3. 'Feasibility study for a comprehensive development of international waterways'
E-40 for the Vistula River on the section from Gdansk to Warsaw
E-40 from Warsaw to the Polish-Belarus border (Brest)
E- 70 on the section Vistula to the Vistula Lagoon (Elblag)
